About the Neverest Girls
A team of girls brought together by the most popular sport in the world: running. On a mission to raise a stack of cash and awareness for the charity A Chacun son Everest. How? By running the world’s highest marathon : The Everest Marathon - On May 29th 2014, The Neverest Girls will take part in the world's highest marathon: The Everest Marathon. 42.195 km (26.2 miles) over rough mountain trails at high altitude. This is not your average running race! Even for a fit group of girls who are used to running on mountain trails, the Everest Marathon will be an enormous physical and mental challenge.
The luckiest girls in the world?
The Neverest Girls are a group of passionate female runners based in Chamonix in the French Alps. We're not elite athletes, but we push ourselves to our own personal limits. We love to nothing more than running in the mountains, encouraging each other and enjoying the views. Running for us is not a solitary pursuit, but a team effort. Running is our passion, our support system, our freedom. We work hard, play hard, run hard. And we know how lucky we are! We even get to shoot videos with the world famous Kilian Jornet. Please Help Our Charity
A Chacun son Everest is a Chamonix based charity offering care and support for women who are battling breast cancer. The centre specialises in confidence building, friendship forging and helping each and every one of the cancer patients to keep challenging themselves, to keep reaching for their own 'Everest'.
The charity relies solely on donations and we are hoping to raise 3000 euros per Neverest Girl – the cost of one woman staying for the week at the A Chacun son Everest centre. Our trip to Nepal is self funded and all proceeds from the Neverest Girls go straight to charity!
Please help us achieve our target by clicking on the donate button below! Every penny you donate will beneift the lives of the incredible women who attend A Chacun Son Everest. Thank you!
